Music composer Wajid Khan passed away on Jun1 following a cardiac arrest. His wife, Kamalrukh Khan recently opened up about her experience of being in an inter-caste marriage. While Wajid was Muslim, Kamalrukh is Parsi and the college sweethearts tied the knot under the Separate Marriage Act that allows one to follow their own faith post marriage. Kamalrukh has two children with Wajid- a 16-year-old daughter and a nine-year-old son. After the post, she spoke to a daily about the trauma she went through in her 17-years of marriage. Kamalrukh revealed that she now has to fight for her children's due inheritance as Wajid's family has usurped his assets post his death. She said that she has to pay for her kids' education and their upkeep. The film is written and directed by Keith Gomes. Keith Gomes thanked the cast and crew of the film who are National and Oscar winners. Actor Janhvi Kapoor will soon resume work. After starring in Gunjan Saxena - The Kargil Girl this year that premiered on Netflix, the actress will begin her next film in January 2021. As per a daily, the actress has signed the remake of 2018 Tamil hit Kolamavu Kokila that starred Nayanthara in the lead. The film will be produced by Aanand L Rai. Rahul Roy, who was in Kargil has been rushed to Srinagar for immediate medical attention. The actor was shooting for his upcoming film LAC – Live The Battle in Kargil where he suffered with a brain stroke. The actor has made quite the name for himself since the 90s and even participated in Bigg Boss. Apparently, the reason behind his brain stroke is the harsh weather condition of the region and he was immediately rushed to Srinagar for proper medical care and was then moved to Mumbai. In a huge relief for Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, the Bombay High Court on Thursday set aside the demolition order passed by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on September 9 directing demolition of alleged alterations carried at her Bandra office. The case was being heard by the division bench of Justices SJ Kathawalla and RI Chagla, who said that Ranaut is allowed to make the bungalow habitable. However, it also said that the extent of the demolished position requires planning permission from the BMC. The Court also asked to appoint a valuer to determine the compensation payable to the actress for the demolition of her property, which is to be submitted before the court in March 2021. The BMC had alleged that Ranaut had unauthorized constructions in her Mumbai office, a portion of which was razed. While refusing to divulge details on the character that the Amitabh Bachchan will play in the Prabhas and Deepika Padukone starrer, the film’s producer Priyanka Dutta revealed to me that the Big B’s role would be no cameo. “He is playing a full-length character, like Prabhas,” the producer asserts. As the theatres had been shut since the March amid the lockdown due to coronavirus pandemic, many films saw direct-to-OTT release. The Bombay High Court on Thursday dismissed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed to probe the 'unnatural death' of celebrity manager Disha Salian. The court said that if anyone has any information of a cognizable offence regarding the death then he or she may submit it to the police under the Criminal Procedure Code provisions under section 38 and 39. The PIL was filed by Puneet Dhanda and his counsel Vineet Dhanda who represented him said that Salian died on June 8 and a few days later on June 14 Sushant Singh Rajput died. The counsel said that both the deaths were unnatural and claimed that media reports raised questions over the cause of her death. Dhanda also said that the police only registered an accidental death report. The court asked him if he had submitted any information regarding the death after the police issued a press note seeking any information from the public.
