Bollywood actress Swara Bhasker has filed an FIR after she received a death threat at her Mumbai residence. The letter was sent to her house in Versova. After her complaint, Mumbai Police have begun the probe. The letter was written in Hindi which says that the youth of India won't tolerate insults against Veer Savarkar. Nine years after, Jiah Khan committed suicide, her ex-boyfriend Sooraj Pancholi, who has faced many accusations in the case, have moved the court against the victim’s mother Rabia Khan. As per reports, Sooraj has filed an application at the special CBI court to issue a non-bailable warrant, accusing her of delaying the trail. Reportedly, Sooraj Pancholi filed a handwritten application, in which, it has been stated that Rabia Khan has been not been paying heed to the summons made by the prosecution. With Rs. 4.82 crores coming in on Monday, JugJugg Jeeyo collections now stand at Rs. 41.93 crores. The film has managed to keep a hold on its first weekday, though given the merits of the film, one would have expected at least an additional crore to be collected on Monday. After all, the growth on Saturday was quite good and then Sunday had seen a push as well. However, it is now apparent that the box office is going through a transition phase and barring a couple of films or so which have seen a far better hold on Mondays, the majority have in fact totally crashed in the range of 70%-80%. This has been the case of most of the films which anyway opened in a very low range (Rs. 2-3 crores) or those select few which did have a double digit opening but didn’t have any takers on Monday. While the promotions were grander than ever, the film has shown a growth of 44% in national multiplex chains on Day 2 as compared to Day 1. In this box office report, we take a look at the business of JugJugg Jeeyo, while breaking the same into collections generated from national multiple chains. As per the report, the film collected between Rs. 1.6 crore on Day 1 at Inox chain of cinemas and followed up with Rs. 2.35 crore on Day 2. At PVR Cinemas, the film collected Rs. 2.55 crore on Day 1 and Rs. 3.75 crore on Day 2.
