  A recent report suggests that following the creation of the blockbuster Simba, Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty may reunite for another important character, this time in the comedy genre. Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty first teamed up in 2018 to film the police drama Simba. Singh played the main character, a clumsy police officer who, after a horrific incident, undergoes a tremendous emotional transformation and becomes the messiah of the people he is close to. Shetty's production, however disproven, and Singh's hysteria, made the film a huge success. And now a Bollywood Hungama report says the duo are ready to reunite for a film, this time in the comedy realm. A source told the portal, “Rohit was eager to move beyond the Golmaal franchise and his police universe, and the isolation gave him time to work on a comic script.
