As the Maharashtra government announced some ease in lockdown restrictions, many films have resumed their shoots. Late actor Rishi Kapoor's last film Sharmaji Namkeen has also gone on floors. Rishi played the central character in the movie and passed away on April 30, last year. His remaining portions of the film were taken over by veteran actor Paresh Rawal. Paresh Rawal started shooting for the remaining portions in March this year. However, with the second wave of the novel coronavirus, the shoot came to a halt again. Veteran actor Dilip Kumar who was recently discharged from the hospital has once again been hospitalised to the intensive care unit of a city hospital. He was taken to the hospital following a complaint of breathlessness as a precautionary measure, ten days after he was discharged. Reportedly, Dilip Kumar was hospitalised on June 29, Tuesday, in Hinduja Hospital's non-COVID facility. He is reportedly doing fine and is in the ICU so that doctors can monitor him. Kumar was earlier hospitalized in the same city hospital on June 6 after he complained of breathlessness. He was diagnosed with bilateral pleural effusion a build-up of excess fluid between the layers of the pleura outside the lungs and underwent a successful pleural aspiration procedure. Seeing the high expectations of the audience from the Shah Rukh Khan starrer espionage drama Pathan , producer Aditya Chopra has decided to hire four action stunt directors. The producer is planning to rope in the best stunt artists across the globe but is yet to decide whom to hire. According to a daily, the producer has finalised one among them and has roped in South African stunt artist Craig MacRae. He is a highly skilled stunt and martial artist. He also has designed sequences for Mad Max: Fury Road (2015), Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), Bloodshot (2020) and War (2019). Craig along with his team have already reported to the film’s set in Mumbai. Craig MacRae runs a stunt company named Titan Stunts with Katja Hopkins. The Bombay High Court on June 28 disposed of Kangana Ranaut's plea seeking to renew her passport after authorities told her application needs some corrections. The Passport Authority's counsel also assured that it would decide her application expeditiously. According to Live Law India, "A bench of Justices SS Shinde and Revati Mohite Dere specifically constituted to adjudicate the issue heard Kangana's petition. Additional Solicitor General Anil Singh for the Passport Authority submitted that Kangana's renewal application doesn't mention correct facts. He said only FIRs were pending against the actor, not 'criminal cases,' as wrongly stated by her in her passport application. The ASG further said that the Passport Authority is willing to consider her passport renewal application in accordance with the Passport Act/rules/ procedure, expeditiously, if her advocate was willing to make a statement in the regard."
