Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh created uproar on social media with his nude photoshoot for international magazine. The photoshoot was done for Paper magazine. Soon after, a complaint was filed against him at Chembur Police station in Mumbai by the Maharashtra State Commission for Women. The actor was supposed to appear on August 22 for the same but he had requested for two more weeks for the same. The actor on Monday appeared before police and was reportedly questioned for 2 hours. With less than appreciative reviews the film has been fumbling at the domestic box office. Recently, Karan Johar confirmed that his next with Tiger Shroff, titled Screw Dheela has been delayed by a year. The footfalls were reduced but only marginally so and as a result Rs. 4.25 crores* still came in. That said, this wasn't something that anyone associated with the film would have anticipated before release, though seeing the kind of trajectory that the Telugu version was following already, it wasn't entirely unexpected. Vijay Deverakonda's Liger has seen another dip in collections on Saturday in the South Indian market. After a start of Rs. 17 crores, the film came down to Rs. 4.25 crores on Friday and now on Saturday, there was another crash of 30 percent as estimates indicate the third day at Rs. 3.25 crores. With this, the gross total of Liger in the South Indian belts stands at Rs. 24.50 crores. The South Indian rights i.e. Telugu states, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Karnataka, were sold for a sum of Rs. 70 crores, of which Rs. 60 crores is for the Telugu states. The three-day share of Liger is in the range of Rs. 13 crores, which leaves Rs. 57 crores worth of recovery still pending. Liger will close its share in the Southern belt with a share of Rs. 17 crores, which means a consolidated South Indian belt loss of Rs. 53 crores.
