Before the release of Salman Khan's movie Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan in April, Bollywood Hungama had reported that Salman Khan was discussing a new project with filmmaker Karan Johar. More recently, we were the first to inform you that the said film would be helmed by Shershaah director Vishnu Vardhan. According to a reliable source in the film industry, Salman Khan was reviewing scripts and expressed interest in one from Dharma Productions for a 2024 Eid release. However, now in latest episode of Aap Ki Adalat, Salman confirmed the same. During an interview with Rajat Sharma on Aap Ki Adalat, Salman was asked about his collaboration with Karan, to which he nodded yes and confirmed that they will be working together on a new film. Earlier it seemed that the feat would be accomplished on Thursday itself, especially when Saturday and Sunday were huge (owing to Eid) and then Monday too had managed a double digit score. However, once the collections dropped to Rs. 6.12 crores on Tuesday, it was pretty evident that the film would take some time before finding its way into the Rs. 100 Crore Club. Nonetheless, the film is still there in theatres and is now collecting, albeit on the lower levels. On Saturday, the collections moved up a bit to Rs. 3.10 crores. In the early afternoon hours of Friday, the scheduled hearing for 10:30am was pushed further to 12pm owing to some new evidence submitted by the prosecution. However, the final verdict has arrived and the court has acquitted actor Sooraj Pancholi of abetment charges related to the suicide case. Readers would recall that Sooraj Pancholi, who was dating Jiah Khan at the time of her demise, was accused of abetting her suicide after a major fight between the two by Jiah’s mother Rabi Khan. However, the Hero actor has now been free of charges with the court acquitting him from the case on April 28.
