Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who has been in the news for his souring relationship with wife Aaliya Siddiqui aka Zainab, has been summoned by the Bombay High Court to resolve the matter amicably. As per current reports, the court has decided to help the estranged couple settle their matter owing to the fact which they are parents to two minor children, a twelve-year-old daughter and a seven-year-old son. In a recent hearing, Nawazuddin Siddiqui requested the division bench of Justice Revati Mohite Dere and Justice Sharmila Deshmukh to help him reveal the whereabouts of his children, who allegedly returned to India from Dubai with their mother Aaliya Siddiqui, without Nawaz being informed of the same. After his plea, the division bench has now summoned the actor, his estranged wife, and their children for a hearing that has been scheduled on April 3, as per current reports. In March 2022, the Andheri Magistrate Court had issued a summons to Salman Khan and his bodyguard Nawaz Shaikh after a journalist filed a complaint against the actor in 2019 accusing the actor of misbehaving with him. It was later challenged in the High Court. As per the latest update in the case,  the Bombay High Court, on Thursday, quashed the private case. A single-judge bench of Justice Bharati H Dangre had concluded the hearing. The single bench also reserved its orders in the plea by Salman Khan and his bodyguard on March 21. Dangre said, “Let people have their own privacy, Whether it is an actor, lawyer or judge. None of you is above the law. Neither an actor nor a press person. Over a week ago, Bollywood actor Salman Khan's security was beefed up by the Mumbai Police after one of his associates, Jordy Patel, received a threat via an email. It is going to be yet another decent week for both Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar and Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway as there was very good hold demonstrated on Friday. As a matter of fact, both the films actually ended up collecting better than Thursday which is good trending because when the collections are on the lower side then such things do matter for a consistent week ahead. This can well be seen from the fact that after bringing in Rs 0.82 crores on Thursday, Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway collected Rs 0.90 crores on Friday. It missed the Rs 1 crores mark by a whisker but will cross that comfortably and even go past the Rs 1.50 crores mark today. The film saw very good jump on Saturday and then sustained well on Sunday before having a fair run from Monday to Thursday which was on the expected lines. Sonu Nigam’s father Agamkumar Nigam has filed an FIR (First Information Report) against his former driver for allegedly stealing Rs. 72 lakh from his residence in Mumbai. The singer's father lives at Windsor Grand building in Oshiwara, Andheri west. The alleged robbery took between March 19 and March 20. The FIR was registered by Sonu Nigam's sister Nikita who reached Oshiwara police station in the wee hours of Wednesday. As per the complaint, Agamkumar Nigam has a driver named Rehan for 8 months but was sacked from the job after his performance was unsatisfactory, as told by an official. As per a report in PTI, an official said that Agamkumar visited Nikita's home in the Versova area on March 19 for lunch. He was back at his residence after sometime. The release date of the Akshay Kumar, Radhika Madan and Paresh Rawal starrer Hindi remake of the Tamil film Soorarai Pottru is out. The Sudha Kongara directorial venture will be releasing in theatres on September 1 this year. Produced by Abundantia Entertainment and 2D Entertainment, the yet untitled film is tentatively called Production No. 27. Released in November 2020, Soorarai Pottru starred Suriya, Aparna Balamurali, Paresh Rawal and Mohan Babu, among others. The film was also helmed by Sudha Kongara. If the first day numbers were a decent Rs 1.27 crores, the second day numbers came to Rs 2.26 crores and then Sunday collections were Rs 3 crores*. On each of these days, the numbers jumped by Rs 1 crore* or more and that's good trending indeed as it shows that the footfalls are on a constant rise. So far, the film has collected Rs 6.53 crores* and 10 crores would be comfortably crossed this week. What needs to be seen now is stability during the weekdays and as long as the numbers are on the same lines as Friday, it would be good indeed. That would allow it a good run not just till the release of Bholaa but even beyond. In the first three months of 2023, Hindi cinema has already released two remakes, Shehzada and Selfiee, and is all set to make the third addition to the list with the Ajay Devgn starrer Bholaa.
