In the early hours of Friday, at about 4:30 AM, two shots were reportedly fired outside the residence of Bollywood actress Disha Patani, located in Civil Lines, Bareilly. The firing was reportedly an aerial discharge; no one was injured during the incident. Businessman Raj Kundra, husband of actress Shilpa Shetty, turned 50 on September 9, 2025. However, his milestone birthday comes under a cloud as the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) has summoned him in connection with a Rs 60.48 crore cheating case. Tiger Shroff has been known to do films targeted at the audiences of all ages. But with Baaghi 4, he has made an exception. It is his first ‘A’ rated film due to excessive violence and bloodshed. Baaghi 4 was certified on August 26, in time for its release worldwide on September 5. However, the Examining Committee (EC) enforced 23 visual as well as audio cuts. Param Sundari did decent business on Blockbuster Tuesday as reduced ticket prices led to better footfalls. While on Monday, the film had dipped a little more than expected to Rs. 3.32 crores, on Tuesday it did better as the collections managed to cross the Rs. 4 crores mark. Yes, had Monday collections itself been in this range then that would have been a lot better but then this has happened on Tuesday now and that helps the film to an extent. With Rs. 4.31 crores coming in, the film has now moved to Rs. 36.11 crores. This is a reasonable total for the film and Rs. 41-42 crores would be scored by the time the first week is through. After bringing in Rs. 28.48 crores over the weekend, Param Sundari was positioned reasonably well at the box office. After all, the film has been made at a reasonable cost and hence is by and large a safe proposition. Hence, one waited to see how Monday unfolded since Friday collections were Rs. 7.37 crores and hence anything over Rs. 4 crores would have been decent enough. The film did a bit lesser than that though with Rs. 3.32 crores coming in. That’s a little over 50% drop, as a result of which the numbers can be considered fair. There was yet another double digit score for Param Sundari as the film brought in Rs. 11.04 crores on Sunday. Though at some stage on Thursday, some had started predicting that there was an outside chance for the film to go past the Rs. 10 crores mark, that was more of a wishful thinking than anything else. Then on Saturday it had started seeming that a double digit score was there for the taking, and the film managed to cross it by just a whisker. Now on Sunday it has happened with relative ease as further growth came in. Of course, the quantum of growth wasn’t on the same lines as Saturday as this time around 10% more footfalls were there instead of 35%+.
