If sources are to be believed Sunny Deol is planning a family film with his brother Bobby and son Karan which Sunny will produce and direct under the family banner Vijeta Films. It may be noted that Sunny’s son Karan’s career did not take off after his debut film Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas , released in September 2019 and refused to set the box office on flame. Sunny has since then been looking for a script that would accommodate not just his son Karan but also Sunny’s brother Bobby who has not been very lucky at the box office in recent years. Bobby’s debut on the digital platform with the recent Class Of 83 has not been well received. He also appears to be a misfit as a fake godman in Prakash Jha’s forthcoming web series Aashram . It’s time for the family to step in to salvage Bobby’s career. The shooting of  Gangubai Kathiawadi  is on full-swing at Film City where a massive set had been erected six months ago. Miraculously the set remained intact through rain and sunshine. “SLB plans to continue shooting throughout November. But all the sequences involving large crowds have been pushed to later. Right now the director is shooting scenes with Alia Bhatt and her co-star Shantanu Maheshwari,” informs a source close to the project. Apparently, there are several action scenes waiting for the director’s attention. These have been postponed until the Covid-19 situation gets better. As the film industry is getting back on its feet after a hiatus, many actors have hit the ground running and begun working in a full-fledged fashion. One of them is Tara Sutaria who is currently working in full swing. And now, we hear that Tara will be jetting off to kick-start the next schedule of Tadap in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand. As the theatres had been shut since the March amid the lockdown due to coronavirus pandemic, many films saw direct-to-OTT release. With theatres opening up on 50% capacity in many states in India, some previous films are hitting the theatres and only few new releases will happen on big screen. Earlier this month, Hollywood actor Johnny Depp announced his exit from the  Fantastic Beasts  franchise. In an elaborate statement on Instagram, the actor said that due to the current events related to the ongoing case against Amber Heard, Warner Bros asked him to resign. The actor was essaying the role of Gellert Grindelwald and had only filmed one scene in the third part. Soon after his exit, it was being reported that  Hannibal  and  Doctor Strange  actor Mads Mikkelsen was in early talks to replace Johnny Depp in  Fantastic Beasts 3.  Warner Bros has now confirmed the casting. The stunning Malayalam film Jallikattu  has been selected as India’s official entry into the International film category in the Oscars. Visually lush and emotionally jolting Jallikattu is in many ways representative of an aspect of cultural annihilation that Indian cinema seldom celebrates.
