The then chairperson of the CBFC, Pahlaj Nihalani, reduced the kissing scene of the film to around 22 seconds. The Aamir Khan helmed  Forrest Gump  remake  Lal Singh Chaddha  has been rescheduled. Instead of Christmas 2021 it will now be released on Valentine’s Day 2022. This is in deference to the cluster of films awaiting their turn to be released after theatres in Maharashtra re-open on October 22. A source close to the  Lal Singh Chaddha project informs, “Aamir Khan and his co-producers Viacom 18 have voluntarily taken their film to February 2022. The Christmas week of 2021 (which is the week when Aamir traditionally releases his films) already has Kabir Khan’s ’ 83 (December 24), the Shahid Kapoor sports film  Jersey (December 31) and Rohit Shetty’s Ranveer Singh starrer  Cirkus (December 31) lined up for release. The wait is finally over. Ram Madhvani’s terror-media thriller  Dhamaka will be premiered in November 2021; a source close to the project informs me. The date is yet to be decided. A source in the know says the long-awaited film will stream during Diwali. “The date is yet to be decided but somewhere around November 3-4,” says the source. Kartik Aaryan’s made-for-Netflix thriller has been in the news for a year now. Its streaming date has been deliberately held back by Netflix, as  Dhamaka  is being seen as a super-premium product for Netflix’s Indian market. “It’s going to be a game-changer,” says a source from Netflix. Earlier today, Bollywood Hungama had reported that Akshay Kumar is reuniting with Karan Johar's Dharma Productions for director Raj Mehta's next film. The trio had last worked together for the film Good Newwz . Now, according to the latest reports, Emraan Hashmi has also joined the cast of the film. The film in question is the official Hindi remake of Prithviraj's Malayalam film Driving License (2019). In the original film, Prithviraj played a film superstar while Suraj Venjaramoodu essayed the role of a motor inspector who is a massive fan of the superstar. However, a misunderstanding leads to the two locking horns with each other and the two trying to make each other's life a living hell.
