Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan Box Office: Film crosses Rs. 90 crores mark after first week, should enter Rs. 100 Crore Club this weekend

When Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan saw massive momentum coming its way over the weekend gone by, what with both Saturday and Sunday resulting in over Rs. 25 crores each, it seemed given that the film will enter Rs. 100 Crore Club within Week One itself. In fact hopes were intact right till Monday as well when a double digit score was achieved. However, collections surprisingly didn’t manage similar momentum from Tuesday to Thursday, as a result of which the collections have now gone below the Rs. 4 crores mark.

Thursday collections of the film stood at Rs. 3.50 crores* and that’s not something which seemed on the cards even on the day the film opened. Somehow, it seems that primarily it was the Eid crowd waiting for the film and they did get their share of entertainment. However outside this segment, audiences were left asking for more. As a result, while the film has collected Rs. 92.21 crores* so far, an entry into the Rs. 100 Crore Club will take place only during the weekend.

The film has an advantage of entire May available at its disposal and even with semi-decent collections today and tomorrow, it could manage a fair run till the next big release. Hence, all eyes would be on the kind of jump that comes in as that would be key to how much far ahead will it be able to go ahead of the Rs. 125 crores mark.

*Estimates. Final numbers awaited

Note: All collections as per production and distribution sources
