After playing the Historic character of Rani Laxmibai within her debut directorial' Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi', Kangana Ranaut will be Gearing up to star in the biopic of late Tamil Nadu political mascot Jayalalithaa titled' Thalaivi'. The movie produced by Vishnu Vardan Induri and also helmed by Vijay has been awarded the status of an official biopic and the group of the makers has obtained a no objection certificate from the late Chief Minister's nephew Deepak Jayakumar.

 Earlier, it had been reported that the celebrity will be paid a record Rs 24 crore for the movie, the maximum amount an Indian actress would have received for a regional movie. But later the makers refuted the reports and now it is being reported that the celebrity would be compensated somewhere about Rs 12 crore.

 As per reports, the The dialogues of the movie is going to be written by'Baahubali' writer Vijayendra K Prasad, who'd written Kangana'a previous film'Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi.' The casting of Kangana is thought to help the movie reach a pan-Indian audience.


Kangana will be appearing in her second film with'Thalaivi'. The actress has earlier played the female lead in Jayam Ravi starrer 2008 movie'Dhaam Dhoom'.

Mumbai Court restricts Kamaal R Khan from posting any defamatory content against Salman Khan

Mumbai Court on June 23 issued an order to Kamal R Khan restraining him from posting any defamatory content against Bollywood actor Salman Khan. According to the court, the image of any individual is “purest treasure and the most precious perfume of life”. The court passed the order after Salman Khan filed defamation suit against KRK. Kamaal R Khan also accused Being Human, a registered Salman Khan's venture of being involved in fraud, manipulation and money laundering. Salman and his team filed a suit in the court following a series of defamatory videos and offensive tweets by KRK on his social media handles. The court found that Kamaal R Khan exceeded his boundary of freedom of speech and his remarks needed immediate strict action.
