Yash REVEALS Details About KGF: Chapter 2

Actor Yash is anticipating the next chapter of upcoming Kannada action-drama"KGF", and states the scale of demonstration of the sequel will be higher using"a few of very complex actions scenes".
Following the runaway success of"KGF", which emerged since the first Kannada film to breach the Rs 200 crore club globally, the hype for"KGF: Chapter 2" has reached unprecedented heights. And Yash believes there are"enormous expectations to live up to".

 

 

Q. Months following its launch,"KGF" continues to run in several centers?

A. We have been monitoring its course through the weeks and frankly, though we expected the film to be successful, the amount of success has left us quite dazed. 

 

Q. So"KGF" part 2 ?

A. We'll go on the floors at the end of April or the beginning of May. We have locked from the script and it's now in pre-production. The scale of presentation that time would be a lot greater. Now that"KGF" is a brand, we've got enormous expectations to live up to. Not that, we're any less careful in the first part. Just technically this time we will need to be a little more complicated. There are a couple of very intricate action scenes in the sequel. Because of this, we may get help from overseas technicians.

Q. Can you believe Indian technicians lag behind in action scenes?

A. Not at all! In fact, I believe Indian technicians are the best in the world. In the first chapter, we achieved everything with Indian technicians and most of them were out of Karnataka. This time again, we will be using the exact same team. Just if foreign technicians are required would we consider them. Only because they've the tools that we perhaps don't. Otherwise, we don't lag behind in talent.

 

 

KGF Part - 2

 

 

Q. Are you considering penetrating the global market with a part two?

A. The first part too penetrated the international marketplace, although not as much as we'd have liked. This time, we hope to become better equipped to make inroads abroad. Lots of foreigners have observed"KGF". This time we hope to make a world-class movie.

Q. You did consider doing something else before performing"KGF" back again. I remember you told me that the last time we spoke? 

 

A. But audiences expectations are so large we do not want to disappoint them by breaking their concentration from the first section to the second. If the second part comes later, it could be of no use. People really want to watch it today. The absolute most essential element to do"KGF 2" right after the very first chapter is my appearance.

Q. How is your recently-born daughter doing? What have you called her?

A. We could simply name her after five or five months. We will have a big ceremony after five months where her title will be officially announced.

Q. Success hasn't changed you at all?

A. I am no stranger to success. What this movie did was to expand my fan base repeatedly. If I was a newcomer in"KGF", then you might have found me walking with my head in the clouds.

Q. Your message to fans?

A. Please give the next chapter of"KGF" more love than you gave the very first chapter.
