'Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior' trailer out - Ajay Devgn leads a ‘surgical strike’ on the Mughals

Ajay Devgn's upcoming 100th film, Tanhaji, is due out on January 10, 2020. The trailer for the movie was released today, November 19, 2019, and the full title of the movie is Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior. ... In the film, Ajay will play the role of the historical warrior Subedar Tanaji Malusare. Tanaji's historical history is truly memorable, and many of the scenes in the trailer can be directly compared to stories told throughout the story.



Tanaji Malusare's story is about overcoming huge obstacles with wit, tactics and willpower. When the Treaty of Purandara was signed between the Marathas in 1665, Shivaji Maharaj had to transfer the strategically important fort of Kondhana to the Mughals. However, the abandonment of such a significant fort to the greatest enemy of the Marathas provoked fury for Shivaji Maharaj's mother, Rajmata Jijabai.
In 1670, Shivaji Maharaj decided to attack the fort in order to recapture it from the Mughals. To lead the attack, he chose Tanaji Malusare on the advice of his mother. Tanaji left his son's wedding as soon as he received an order from Shivaji Maharaj. This scene is depicted in the trailer for the upcoming film. The film will also delve a little deeper into the family and backstory of Tanaji Malusare.
At the time, the fort was defended by Udaibhan Rathod, a fierce warrior who also led an equally deadly army of Rajputs, Arabs and Pathans who worked for the Mughal Empire. The trailer also showed several scenes about Udaibhan Rathoda. His hero will be played by Saif Ali Khan.
Historical legend says that Tanaji had a tamed monitor lizard named Yashwanti. He tied ropes to this lizard and made it climb the walls of the fort. As soon as he reached the top, Tanaji ordered his men to climb over the fort wall using the ropes hanging from the lizard. Using this strategy, Tanaji and 300 of his men managed to climb the southern side of the fort. Fragments of this strategy were also depicted in the movie trailer when we see Tanaji and his troops climbing the fort wall.
The battle is said to have continued and Tanaji had a legendary battle against the enemy general Udaibhan Rathod. This is also shown in the trailer. We will see a few moments when Ajay Devgn and Saif clash with each other, and we will also see the two clash with their swords in battle.

Gulshan Devaiah starts shooting Ulajh with Janhvi Kapoor and Roshan Mathew; says I am playing a complicated part

Gulshan Devaiah has started shooting for his upcoming film Ulajh. The movie has Janhvi Kapoor and Roshan Mathew as his co-stars. Since the movie is about Indian Foreign Services (IFS), the major portion of the shoot is expected to be done in various foreign locations.
