Are Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty reuniting for another biggie after Simba?

 A recent report suggests that following the creation of the blockbuster Simba, Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty may reunite for another important character, this time in the comedy genre.



Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty first teamed up in 2018 to film the police drama Simba. Singh played the main character, a clumsy police officer who, after a horrific incident, undergoes a tremendous emotional transformation and becomes the messiah of the people he is close to. Shetty's production, however disproven, and Singh's hysteria, made the film a huge success.

And now a Bollywood Hungama report says the duo are ready to reunite for a film, this time in the comedy realm. A source told the portal, “Rohit was eager to move beyond the Golmaal franchise and his police universe, and the isolation gave him time to work on a comic script. When he told the main idea to Ranveer, the actor was equally thrilled, as he had not previously starred in the comedy film Rohit Shetty in Electronic Style and agreed to take part. "

Singh also has a cameo in Shetty's Sooryavanshi, which also features Devgn and Akshay Kumar. Sooryavanshi was awaiting a release from Gudi Padwa (March 25). The release was delayed due to the blockage. Singh, on the other hand, has films like 83, Jayeshbhai Jordaar, Takht, as well as a film starring Zoya Akhtar and Katrina Kaif.

Gulshan Devaiah has started shooting for his upcoming film Ulajh. The movie has Janhvi Kapoor and Roshan Mathew as his co-stars. Since the movie is about Indian Foreign Services (IFS), the major portion of the shoot is expected to be done in various foreign locations.
