Initially slated for release in March 2021, Aashram's second installment
will hit the web in November.
Director Prakash Jha highlighted how blind
faith can be used when he told the story of a self-appointed god in Aashram.
The MX Player web series, in which Bobby Deol played Kashipurwala Babu Niralu,
a spiritual guru whose mysterious actions raise suspicions, was split into two
parts. Initially, it was assumed that the second part will be released on sale
in March 2021, now the manufacturers have extended its release until November.
A source from the creative team reports
that after filming a three-month schedule in Ayodhya since last October,
Prakash Jha decided to release the first season in two parts. The source adds:
“The second part is currently in post-production and the producers will
announce a release date soon. While Baba Nirala's transgressions were not fully
explored in the first part, the forthcoming edition will go deep into his soul.
In the end, he will be shown as a shrewd
manipulative criminal who retains the appearance of God’s man. The latest
episode, which kicks off with the performance of Adhyyan Suman's character Tink
Singh at a rock concert, will show how Singh is helping Baba grow his fan base.
" Meanwhile, the creative team has developed material for the second
season and will take on it. by floors by February 2021.
