Bell Bottom Box Office: Akshay Kumar starrer collects Rs. 1.85 cr. on Day 11; more than double of 2nd Friday
The action extravaganza, Bellbottom starring Akshay Kumar released a few weeks back. Being the first film to release in theatres post resumption of business after the second wave of Covid-19 all eyes were on the business of the film. After opening on a slow note, Bellbottom gathered steam at the box office as the days passed.
Now on its second Sunday running Bellbottom has managed to draw in a further Rs. 1.85 cr, which is more than double of its second Friday collections of Rs. 80 lakhs. Interestingly, the film which faced competition for both the audience’s wallet and screens from the Amitabh Bachchan – Emraan Hashmi starrer Chehre, has managed to hold its own, and even witnessed an increase in collections over its second weekend. In fact, the Sunday collections of the film were nearly double of its second Saturday collections of Rs. 1.10 cr as well.
Going ahead, with the film’s digital release slated for later next month, Bellbottom still has a somewhat open window at theatres and is expected to continue as the audiences’ first choice. In fact, predictions state that Bellbottom that has so far collected Rs. 22.30 cr. could well reach the Rs. 30 cr. mark by the end of the next weekend.
