The Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa: The Rise - Part 1 that released in December last year has been going strong. After emerging as the dark horse at the box office the business of the film has stunned nearly everyone. Now in its sixth week, Pushpa has managed to hold strong.

In this box office report we take a look at the sixth week collections while comparing the same to previous releases. Collecting Rs. 6.17 cr. Pushpa has emerged as the third highest all-time sixth week grosser. While the business of the film does not surpass previous releases like Uri - The Surgical Strike that collected Rs. 11.55 cr. and Padmaavat that collected Rs. 6.98 cr., it does out beat other releases like Badhaai Ho that collected Rs. 5.95 cr., Baahubali 2 - The Conclusion that collected Rs. 5.35 cr., Tanhaji - The Unsung Warrior that collected Rs. 5.08 cr., Bahubali - The Beginning that collected Rs. 4.75 cr., 3 Idiots (Aamir Khan) that collected Rs. 4.12 cr., Kabir Singh that collected Rs. 2.71 cr. and Tiger Zinda Hai (Salman Khan) that collected Rs. 2.63 cr.

Currently with total collections pegged at Rs. 97.98 cr. it is expected that the business of Pushpa: The Rise will cross the Rs. 100 cr. mark in the next couple of days.

Gulshan Devaiah starts shooting Ulajh with Janhvi Kapoor and Roshan Mathew; says I am playing a complicated part

Gulshan Devaiah has started shooting for his upcoming film Ulajh. The movie has Janhvi Kapoor and Roshan Mathew as his co-stars. Since the movie is about Indian Foreign Services (IFS), the major portion of the shoot is expected to be done in various foreign locations. Sharing his reaction on the commencement of the film’s shoot, Gulshan said in a statement, “It’s been a good year for me so far and Ulajh has a great cast put together and I’m really looking forward to filming this film with them.
