Attack Box Office Prediction: John Abraham starrer to open in Rs. 5 crore range

Yet another week, yet another biggie. There have been a series of well-mounted films that have been released in the last five weeks, starting with Gangubai Kathiawadi in February. The good run of Hindi films has been going quite well with RRR being the latest addition to the lot. Now the John Abraham starrer Attack - Part 1 is expected to take forward the momentum as it hit the screens this Friday.

The film started in 2020 and with John Abraham backing it as a producer as well; there was a lot at stake. This sci-film has been made at a good scale and budget, and with action being on the lines of Hollywood affairs, which have regularly dealt with such subjects, it should be a unique experience for Hindi film lovers as well. In fact, a lot has been spent on action and VFX, which has been visible in trailers and snippets from the film, which have been revealed over the last few weeks.

As a result, there is added visibility around the film, which has been further enhanced in the fortnight gone by. There is a lot that has been done from the promotional and the marketing front and in that aspect, the job has been done. What the film needs to do now is to excite audiences enough so that there are reasonable footfalls on the first day so that there can be momentum over the weekend. On a regular Friday, the film could well have taken an opening in Rs. 8-10 crores range. However, there is RRR (Hindi) which has been doing quite well, and that would have a good follow-up audience in the second week too. Considering that, an opening in the range of Rs. 5 crores would be satisfactory for Attack - Part 1. Post that the word of mouth should come into play and that could take the film anywhere.

Gulshan Devaiah starts shooting Ulajh with Janhvi Kapoor and Roshan Mathew; says I am playing a complicated part

Gulshan Devaiah has started shooting for his upcoming film Ulajh. The movie has Janhvi Kapoor and Roshan Mathew as his co-stars. Since the movie is about Indian Foreign Services (IFS), the major portion of the shoot is expected to be done in various foreign locations.
