RRR Box Office: SS Rajamouli’s film enters Rs. 100 cr club; collects Rs. 107.59 cr in 5 Days

The much-talked-about and keenly anticipated release RRR directed by SS Rajamouli was released last week on Friday. After receiving positive reviews from the critics, the business of the film opened with a bang. In fact, RRR starring Ram Charan, Jr. NTR, Alia Bhatt, and Ajay Devgn stormed the box office on its opening weekend raking in Rs. 74.50 cr in just three days. On Day 4, its first Monday, the business of the film remained steady drawing in a further Rs. 17 cr, taking the total collections to Rs. 91.50 cr.

Now on Day 5, RRR has managed to rake in Rs. 15.02 cr, taking the film into the highly coveted Rs. 100 cr club. With a collection of Rs. 107.59 cr in just 5 days of its release RRR has now become the 97th film to enter this highly coveted club. If that wasn’t all, achieving this feat within just 5 days of its release RRR has managed to out beat certain previous releases like Ajay Devgn’s Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior which collected Rs. 107.68 cr, and the Akshay Kumar starrer Good Newwz that collected Rs. 117.10 cr in 6 days of their release, and even the recently released The Kashmir Files which collected Rs. 116.45 cr in 8 days of its release. With this, the SS Rajamouli directorial, RRR has now become the fastest release of 2022 to enter the Rs. 100 cr club.

Besides this, with RRR making it past the Rs. 100 cr mark at the domestic box office, the film’s director SS Rajamouli will join Rajkumar Hirani and Ali Abbas Zafar as the only directors who have three films that have achieved this milestone. As for the lead pair, both Ram Charan and Jr. NTR will be seen making their debut in the Rs. 100 cr club with RRR drawing in Rs. 107.59 cr. As for RRR, the film will not join previous releases like Kabir Singh, Kick, Mission Mangal, Ek Tha Tiger, and Sooryavanshi among others that have achieved this feat within five days of their release.

Gulshan Devaiah starts shooting Ulajh with Janhvi Kapoor and Roshan Mathew; says I am playing a complicated part

Gulshan Devaiah has started shooting for his upcoming film Ulajh. The movie has Janhvi Kapoor and Roshan Mathew as his co-stars. Since the movie is about Indian Foreign Services (IFS), the major portion of the shoot is expected to be done in various foreign locations.
