Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Box Office: Kiara Advani keeps her consistent run going; sets her eyes on JugJugg Jeeyo

Staking her claim at being one of the most consistent actresses around, Kiara Advani has now scored another big first week in the form of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. She has done that earlier too with Kabir Singh where she had an author backed role, and together with Shahid Kapoor she had won the heart of millions. This was followed by her comic act in Good Newwz where she made her presence felt quite well in a multi-starrer set up. As good follows ups to her relatively miniscule, but notable presence in M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, Kiara has been doing well.

Now that she has impressed audiences all over again in her on-screen 'jodi' with Kartik Aaryan in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, it is turning out to be a good box office outing for her. Let's not forget that she was quite good in last year's Shershaah as well and that film too have found a place amongst the best of the lot had it released in theatres. As for her other OTT release Laxmii, even that would have scored well with Akshay Kumar at the forefront and her song 'Burj Khalifa' turning out to be a chartbuster.

Here is looking at the first week numbers of the Top-5 Kiara Advani starrers:

Kabir Singh – Rs. 134.42 crores

Good Newwz – Rs. 127.90 crores

M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story – Rs. 94.13 crores

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 – Rs. 92.05 crores

Fugly – Rs. 11.57 crores

While Fugly is a bit off one out in this list, soon it would be replaced by JugJugg Jeeyo, which is her next big release. A Karan Johar production, it features her opposite Varun Dhawan and that should bring in further appeal for the youth. The promotion of the film is in full swing and that should be the next big entertainer for the family audiences. With the stocks going high for the actor, there would be a lot that would be seen of Kiara Advani in months to come.

Gulshan Devaiah starts shooting Ulajh with Janhvi Kapoor and Roshan Mathew; says I am playing a complicated part

Gulshan Devaiah has started shooting for his upcoming film Ulajh. The movie has Janhvi Kapoor and Roshan Mathew as his co-stars. Since the movie is about Indian Foreign Services (IFS), the major portion of the shoot is expected to be done in various foreign locations. Sharing his reaction on the commencement of the film’s shoot, Gulshan said in a statement, “It’s been a good year for me so far and Ulajh has a great cast put together and I’m really looking forward to filming this film with them.
