Pathaan Box Office Estimate Day 5: Shah Rukh Khan starrer is on fire again; collects Rs. 62 cr. on Sunday

The Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan which was released earlier this week on January 25 has been on a roll. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the Yash Raj Films production that also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham has been shattering and re-establishing new box office benchmarks. After setting the box office register jingling with pre-pandemic euphoria, Pathaan has continued its winning journey. Released across 8000 screens worldwide, the film has been unstoppable. Now on its fifth day running, reports state that all circuits across the board have seen a large number of footfalls in both single screens and multiplexes. In fact, despite the increase in shows and with certain locations even featuring midnight screenings, Pathaan has been seeing immense demand from the audience. Evidence of this is visible in the form of records being shattered in nearly all circuits. Currently, reports claim that Pathaan is likely to end its fifth day running with its collections hovering around Rs. 61-63 cr. this high double-digit prediction coupled with the immense response the film has received over its five-day weekend place its opening weekend business around Rs. 281-283 cr. Thanks to this, Pathaan is all set to emerge as the all-time highest opening weekend grosser. If that was not enough, looking at the past few days, Pathaan has managed to see its business cross the Rs. 50 cr. mark on four out of five days. Going by this trend, the film is certainly going to eclipse the Aamir Khan starrer Dangal which collected Rs. 387.38 cr., and the Yash starrer K.G.F - Chapter 2 (Hindi) which had collected Rs. 434.70 cr. Currently, the next target is Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion which had collected Rs. 510.99 cr.

Gulshan Devaiah starts shooting Ulajh with Janhvi Kapoor and Roshan Mathew; says I am playing a complicated part

Gulshan Devaiah has started shooting for his upcoming film Ulajh. The movie has Janhvi Kapoor and Roshan Mathew as his co-stars. Since the movie is about Indian Foreign Services (IFS), the major portion of the shoot is expected to be done in various foreign locations.
