Directed by Gauri Shinde, English Vinglish which marked the return of Sridevi to the big screens after a gap of five years, did stunningly well at the domestic and international box office. Now at the China box office, though the film has seen a sluggish start, trade predictions claim that the business of the film will see further growth.
