Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani registers the 2nd highest opening weekend of 2023 at the Australia box office

The much talked about and keenly anticipated Karan Johar directorial Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani finally hit screens last week. Starring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh the film that enjoyed immense hype in the run up to its release started off with a bang. With positive reviews and strong word of mouth, the business of the film saw its collections grow by leaps and bounds. Even in the overseas markets, the business of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani has been registering good collections.

In this box office report, we look at the collections of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani on its opening weekend at the Australia box office while comparing the same to previous releases of 2023. Collecting A$ 402,082 the film has managed to open higher than the Salman Khan starrer Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan which had collected A$ 360876 and the Ranbir Kapoor – Shraddha Kapoor starrer Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar which had collected A$ 297188. With this Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani has emerged as the second highest opening weekend grosser of 2023 at the Australia box office. in fact, while the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan which collected A$ 2781388 on its opening weekend ranks as the highest grosser, the collections of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani have also surpassed The Kerala Story which collected A$ 234292.

Currently, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, which enjoys the audiences’ favour, continues to run to packed theatres. Given the current scenario and the fact that the film faces little to no competition from other Bollywood releases trade predictions state that the business of the film will continue to see growth over its first week as well.

Gulshan Devaiah starts shooting Ulajh with Janhvi Kapoor and Roshan Mathew; says I am playing a complicated part

Gulshan Devaiah has started shooting for his upcoming film Ulajh. The movie has Janhvi Kapoor and Roshan Mathew as his co-stars. Since the movie is about Indian Foreign Services (IFS), the major portion of the shoot is expected to be done in various foreign locations.
