Box Office: Gadar 2 enters Rs. 400 Crore Club, chase begins for Pathaan lifetime

In its lifetime, the Hindi version of Pathaan had collected Rs. 524.50 crores at the box office. Behind that was Baahubali: The Conclusion (Hindi) which had accumulated Rs. 511 crores. Now the manner in which Gadar 2 is creating mayhem at the box office, it seems very likely that the record of both the films would be broken.

After all, Rs. 400.70 crores have already come for the Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel film, and it needs just around Rs. 125 crores more to get right at the top. The pace for the film has been superb at the box office and till date it’s collecting in double digits, as evident in Tuesday collections of Rs. 12.10 crores. Moreover, the best part is that the drop from Monday (Rs. 13.50 crores) too has been minimal, which means similar trending in the rest of the week will help it collect at least Rs. 20 crores more. This means after the completion of two weeks, the margin will be just a little over Rs. 100 crores. There is Dream Girl 2 arriving this Friday, which means it won’t be an open weekend ahead. However, the momentum is on the side of Gadar 2, which means that especially at the interiors and the single screens, the film would be the first choice of the audiences. If the film somehow manages to collect around Rs. 50 crores more in the coming weekend then it would be game on for the spot at the top for Gadar 2. All time blockbuster. Gulshan Devaiah starts shooting Ulajh with Janhvi Kapoor and Roshan Mathew; says I am playing a complicated part

Gulshan Devaiah has started shooting for his upcoming film Ulajh. The movie has Janhvi Kapoor and Roshan Mathew as his co-stars. Since the movie is about Indian Foreign Services (IFS), the major portion of the shoot is expected to be done in various foreign locations.
