Animal Advance Booking Report: Ranbir Kapoor starrer sells 2,03,000 tickets for Day 1 across national multiplex chains

The Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal has been steadily picking up pace. The Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial that also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Rashmika Mandanna has in fact been making headlines well before its release on December 1. Now as the release date draws near, the advance booking for the film which opened a few days back has been picking up steam with each passing day.

Not surprisingly, the film, which has fast become one of the most anticipated releases, has now managed to sell over 2 lakh tickets for its opening day alone. As per reports, Animal has managed to sell 2,03,000 tickets for its opening day across national multiple chains alone. With PVR chain of cinemas clocking sales of 1,61,000 tickets and Cinepolis chain seeing sales of 42,000 tickets the Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal is set to opening on a flying note.

One should note that these are the sales of tickets only at the two aforementioned cinema chains and it doesn’t include the sales of tickets at other multiplex chains and single screen theatres across the country. Currently, based on advance booking rate and the general audience anticipation for the film trade predictions state that Animal could see an opening day collection well above the Rs. 30 cr mark.

Gulshan Devaiah starts shooting Ulajh with Janhvi Kapoor and Roshan Mathew; says I am playing a complicated part

Gulshan Devaiah has started shooting for his upcoming film Ulajh. The movie has Janhvi Kapoor and Roshan Mathew as his co-stars. Since the movie is about Indian Foreign Services (IFS), the major portion of the shoot is expected to be done in various foreign locations.
