Dunki Box Office: Film emerges as Rajkumar Hirani’s 4th release to enter the Rs. 100 cr club

The Rajkumar Hirani directorial Dunki hit screens last week and since then has been doing brisk business. Starring Shah Rukh Khan the film that received positive reviews has managed to live up to expectations. After opening on a good note, the business of Dunki has now managed to cross the Rs. 100 cr mark.

Entering the highly coveted Rs. 100 cr club in just four days, Dunki that has collected Rs. 101.50 cr has emerged as Rajkumar Hirani’s fourth release to accomplish this feat. Thanks to this, Hirani now shares the second spot with Kabir Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali on the list of directors with the highest number of Rs. 100 cr grosser. Though leading the list is Rohit Shetty with 9 releases that have crossed the Rs. 100 cr mark, Hirani places higher than other directors like Ali Abbas Zafar, SS Rajamouli and Farhad Samji who have 3 releases each.

Currently, Dunki continues to see its business grow, in fact, trade predictions state that with the festive season of Christmas and New Year, the business of the film is certain to see immense growth. In fact, optimistic predictions state that the business of Dunki will not only cross the Rs. 150 cr but also the Rs. 200 cr mark by the end of its first week.

Gulshan Devaiah starts shooting Ulajh with Janhvi Kapoor and Roshan Mathew; says I am playing a complicated part

Gulshan Devaiah has started shooting for his upcoming film Ulajh. The movie has Janhvi Kapoor and Roshan Mathew as his co-stars. Since the movie is about Indian Foreign Services (IFS), the major portion of the shoot is expected to be done in various foreign locations. Sharing his reaction on the commencement of the film’s shoot, Gulshan said in a statement, “It’s been a good year for me so far and Ulajh has a great cast put together and I’m really looking forward to filming this film with them.
