Munjya Box Office: Abhay Verma and Sharvari starrer has a very good third weekend, all set to cross Rs. 100 crores soon

It was a very good third weekend for Munjya as Rs. 16.31 crores came in. On Friday the film had grown to Rs. 3.31 crores, Saturday was quite good at Rs. 5.80 crores and then Sunday the film ended up bringing Rs. 7.20 crores more and that's a really good number. To think of it, the film is in its third week and even with Chandu Champion as competition, there is no stopping it with daily numbers exceeding expectations from the very first day of release.

This kind of growth had come in the first two weekends as well and while on first Sunday it was due to sudden word of mouth that had started gathering steam, on the second Sunday there was also an added increment due to Monday being a partial holiday due to Eid. However, there was no such added advantage for the film this Sunday and if good growth has come in again then it’s primarily because audiences are loving what they are seeing and that's resulting in enhanced footfalls day after day.

The horror comedy has now reached Rs. 87.31 crores and is merely Rs. 13 crores away from hitting the Rs. 100 crores milestone. A very good third weekend has made it a rather easy breezy scenario for the film which will now achieve this feat in the fourth weekend itself. Yes, there is Kalki releasing which will take over a majority of screens whereas Chandu Champion isn't giving up either. However, Munjya is a set film now and it will show its worth in days to come.

Dream Girl 2 Advance Booking: Ayushmann Khurrana starrer sells close to 27,000 tickets for its first day

Director Raaj Shaandilyaa’s Dream Girl (2019) was one of the many hits that Ayushmann Khurrana gave a few years ago. But this one turned out to be much different than the other films the actor did. This one was an out-and-out laugh riot that was very much in the zone of David Dhawan and Govinda movies of the 1990s.
